Lawn Services
You can count on DF Lawn and Home Services to not only meet, but exceed all your needs and requests. Learn more about the services we provide below, and let us know if you’d like more information about a specific offering.

Lawn Care
Mulching

When we come to your property we are going to be completely thorough in our service.
Lawn Care service includes the following:
1. Mowing with a professional grade mower 2. Line trimming all the areas on the property including fences, around posts, trees, and curbs 3. Edging the sidewalks, driveways, and curbs 4. Cleaning up all grass clippings from sidewalks, driveway, and patios.
Our flowerbed mulching services are very useful for you because natural mulch is extremely beneficial for a garden. It traps moisture in the soil so you don’t have to water as often, and it acts as an insulator so your plants’ roots don’t get too hot. (It has the same effect in the winter, keeping plants from getting too cold.) And it suppresses weeds, so you don’t have to weed as often!
There are several options to choose from contact us for more information.

Plant installation
An additional service we can provide for your lawn care includes plant installations. Maybe you want to try a new design, or a plant has died and needs replacing. My family and I love getting the opportunity to be a little creative in our work and liven up your yard. So let us know if you are interested in this service.

Landscape Design
We can also help you design a new landscape or revitalize what you already have. We enjoy being creative in this area and enjoy the process of turning yards into something beautiful. We can do something as simple as installing a border to removing all plants and redesign the area to what you would enjoy. See our Recent Work Page and Google Business page to see what we have been up to lately.

There are several reasons why you would need to fertilize your lawn. Over time, many lawns will leech nutrients out of their soil. Most nutrients for your lawn are water-soluble. Over time, whether through rain or irrigation, the water will carry these nutrients out of your lawn. This will leave your lawn nutrient deficient, which will leave you with an unhealthy lawn susceptible to disease. In some instances, the soil that the grass is growing in does not have the naturally occurring nutrients that turf needs to grow. If this is the case, fertilizer will be needed in order to maintain a healthy lawn. To determine what nutrients your soil needs a soil test can be used. The results of this test will help you determine exactly what type of fertilizer that your lawn needs.
While we do not offer this service for the lawn we strongly encourage you to get a fertilizing company that specializes in this area as they can do the best job for you. We will give advice for fertilizing of some plants and will provide that service for our lawn customers upon request.
